Your Perceptions, Inc. (YP) is owned by Point of View Survey Systems (POVSS). YP is based in Boulder, Colorado.
In 1989, POVSS was founded to provide an electronic on-location survey technology to replace the limitations and time-consuming procedures required for paper surveys. At the time, there was no technology available specifically for this purpose. Even now, although computers, PDA's, and touch screens are sometimes used for this purpose, they are not solely designed as a proven, reliable, safe and user-friendly method of data collection and reporting.
In 1997, Your Perceptions was incorporated specifically to expand services beyond production and sales of the survey units. Since that time, Your Perceptions has expanded to offer a complete line of interactive on-location survey technology and complete website services helping clients to:
- Simplify the capture of customer feedback and contact information in every way imaginable
- Use reported results in actionable terms
- Design, build and maintain new websites, and re-purpose existing ones, based on customer usage and feedback
- Keep website content current and vibrant using simple to use 'open source' Content Management Systems
- Effectively e-communicate to customers
- Preserve and track valuable customer habits and trends and respond to them
Management
Jim Zigarelli
President/Partner
Jim has been with YP since the company's beginnings in 1989. Jim's primary responsibilities are sales, creating and building the company's image, expanding the company's products and growing all market segments.
Throughout his career, spanning 34 years, Jim's clients have included companies as diverse as Atlanta Braves, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Boulder Community Hospital, Celestial Seasonings Teas, Coors, and The John Elway Foundation.
Prior to running YP, he owned a Colorado based Marketing Agency for 13 years. He also produced tradeshows and special events as the owner of an Events Production Company associated with his Marketing Agency. He also has a public relations background, which includes several years at one of the world's premiere firms, Cohn-Wolfe, Atlanta, Georgia.
He has lived in Boulder, Colorado since 1976.
Kevin Kearney
Partner
Kevin is the CEO of Point-of-View Survey Systems, the principal owners of Your Perceptions. Kevin originally created the electronic, portable survey device called POV2000™ and he has led the company to its current position as a leader in electronic data collection.
Kevin consults to Your Perceptions on a wide range of issues with his specialization being customer health measurement. He is visible worldwide as a speaker, consultant and expert in the field of survey technology in health. Prior to creating POVSS in 1989, Kevin was a principal in an international events and marketing company.
Kevin currently lives in Denver and has made Colorado his home since the late sixties.
